looking forward or looking back

we have someone new to put hope in on 1.20.09

though I may have hoped a woman to lead, at least change is coming – NOT PALIN for certain

but change happens everyday – the rain comes and the rain goes

we are moving on to 2 years with out our Lisa, same days are better than others 

but we still are not tipped to the positive all the time

none us really knows what 2009 holds for us – do we?

somethings are certain, days will still dawn and set

nights will still be long and difficult

kids will grow older, become independent

some of us will grow closer, some of us will grow farther apart

it’s just the cycle we hope will happen and at times we hope it won’t

so to 2009 welcome
