searching for peace
farrah has left after what can only be described by outsiders as such a hard battle against anal cancer. I only hope for peace for her, her family and her friends. peace

Thinking about if there is any significance to this date..
realized it is our first daughter – Rose – her 31′st bday – we became her guardians when she was 15 and we were 24 and 25. Pretty amazing journey.
Other than that, all kids are out for the summer and it’s in full swing
k/d cleaned stalls yesterday with chris – i got hit be the electric fence keeping the horses in.. hate my tremors.. oh well
david has basketball camp this week and
k/d have 2 soccer games (at night each)
only 3 weeks to the cruise, 2 weeks till big D leaves for her aunt/uncles – filling our time with what our family does best -
summer camps, sports games and playing with friends
that’s enough
peace
absolutely at wits end with docs, medicine and what feels like lack of compassion, a friend posted this on facebook, enjoy
peace
dry air swirls around
the charge is palpable
like anger and pain it shoot from the sky to light up the dark
quick. fast. unpredictable
sometimes silently approaching from behind
other times coming with deafening sound from the front
light zig zagging down needs the dark to find its path
embrace the fear of the flash, smell the air, breathe
peace
today would be our 20th anniversary – it brings me to my knees
running kids to soccer practice, trying to recovering from a 5 day hospital stay – oh how I HATE steroids
registering K at her new school – looks like a good program with a spring trip to Washington DC – that grabbed her right away
Danielle getting her flight set for this summer to visit her godparents
all that happens in 20 years – it is amazing – what will the next 20 bring?
Delilah (at the time was ReNay) read our letter aloud on the local station on 6.8.89 and played wind beneath my wings
to meet Delilah last week to know I was one of those fortunate letters she carried around – 20 yrs ago
Lisa – god rest in peace my love, I miss you more than anyone will ever know
peace
